Alan Taylor

I established Taylor’s Driving School back in 2018 with the vision to help others develop a vital skill of learning to drive with safety at the heart of the company and the aim of making roads a safer place for all.

I’m very welcoming, laid back and patient, creating a calm and reassuring environment for all my students. I even let my students select the music…sometimes. I’m very adaptable, altering my teaching style to suit each and every student.

I’m a newly qualified driving instructor, bringing the latest training and a fresh perspective to help you become a safe and confident driver. Driving has always been something I’ve really enjoyed, and I love to be able to teach others the skills they need to succeed on the road.

I’m a very laid back and calm person, so you’ll always feel totally comfortable and at ease during lessons. I understand how daunting it can be getting behind the wheel, so I’m happy to go at whatever pace works best for you.

Available for anyone who prefers a female instructor, I’m here to help - you’ll find that we drive better anyway! I can also discuss covering areas outside of Dundee, including the PH12/PH13 areas.

With Taylor’s Driving School being a local family run business we aim to give you the best possible experience. The majority of our students come to Taylor’s Driving School following a recommendation from family or friends.

We have helped more than 350+ learners so have developed extensive experience working with people who are very anxious and had additional worries around learning to drive. Teaching a wide array of students, those new to driving getting them through their driving test, drivers who have a UK driving license requiring refresher lessons, drivers that have an international driving license looking to pass a UK driving test or drivers looking to transition from an automatic to a manual license.
